EmpowerHER Boxing Project – Free Boxing for Girls Aged 5–16
The Power Movement is delighted to introduce the EmpowerHER Boxing Project: free weekly boxing sessions created especially for girls aged 5–16.
Taking place every Thursday from 4.30pm to 5.30pm at Portsoken Community Centre, the sessions offer girls a welcoming and supportive environment in which to get active, learn boxing skills and build their confidence.
The project is led by Courtney Pemble, a three-time national boxing champion. With her experience, encouragement and expert guidance, participants will have the opportunity to develop their fitness, coordination and boxing technique while discovering just how strong and capable they can be.
Boxing is about much more than physical fitness. It can help young people develop discipline, focus, resilience and self-belief – valuable qualities that can make a positive difference both inside and outside the gym.
The EmpowerHER Boxing Project is open to girls living in the City of London and surrounding areas, and is completely free to join.
